Researchers have recently discovered that baldness at an early age may be the first sign of future health problems. According to this new article, men who experience baldness on the back of their heads before the age of thirty are more likely to get prostate cancer in the future. “The link between baldness and prostate cancer may be in an enzyme called 5-alpha reductase. This enzyme converts testosterone to dihydrotestosterone. Dihydrotestosterone causes both prostate enlargement and male pattern hair loss.
